Hierarchy Likely to Support Abortion Proposals

Irish anti-abortion group claims that sources within the Catholic Church have told the organization that the Irish Hierarchy is likely to support the government's abortion proposal in a referendum on the Protection of Human Life in Pregnancy Bill that would permit abotion to save the life of the mother, but does not go as far as anti-abortion advocates would like in defending the life of the embryo from conception. http://www.sbpost.ie/story.jsp?story=WCContent;id-32874
