It has been said that culture raises issues theology endeavors to answer; Hamel and DuBose have accordingly combined cultural analysis of perennial debate surrounding assisted death with reflections from Judeo-Christian theologians. This is the first contemporary study to integrate ethics, theology, philosophy, medicine, law, and sociology in an effort to examin the public policy implications of assisted suicide.
